Kizami udon is one of two udon dishes that used fried tofu as a garnish. While kitsune udon uses a deep-fried tofu soaked in sweet sauce, kizami udon uses a deep-fried tofu that has been toasted. This gives the dish a nice balance in texture between the crispy tofu and soft udon. This warm and savory soup is perfect for winter and will keep you warm during the cold days.
